The programming Toppin said her clients are getting today is far superior to what she used to provide when she updated their program manually each morning, Toppin admitted.
Prior to using Semi-Private Pro, all of her clients were at different days in a training phase or cycle, and it was “a nightmare to keep track of,” explained Toppin, whose clients are mostly lifestyle folks in their 40s and 50s.
With Semi-Private Pro—which comes with built-in programming but is also completely customizable—all of her clients are at the same place in the cycle at the same time. And while this doesn’t mean they’re all doing the same movements—or doing the same training program, as their abilities are all different—it’s a lot more cohesive than it used to be, making it much easier for the coach on the floor to provide feedback and make changes on the fly when need be.
This has helped programming become “more personalized” and effective, because the coach has agency to make changes in real time with just a couple quick clicks, Topping explained.
Secondly, Semi-Private Pro has also made onboarding new members a lot more effective.
After a new member goes through an introductory session, which includes a movement assessment, an InBody scan, and a conversation about their goals, they join the semi-private sessions seamlessly, thanks to Semi-Private Pro’s two-week assessment phase called Body Mapping.
This assessment is an opportunity for the new client to become familiar with the movement matrix, all the while allowing the coach to gain necessary data about the new client to ensure their programming is right for them.
Further, Semi-Private Pro has helped Toppin’s clients become more educated about what it is they’re doing each day, why they’re doing it, and they have a better understanding of the bigger picture plan now, Toppin said.
“There’s a lot more predictability…They’re way more knowledgeable now with what’s happening. And the programming is just better because it’s just more personalized for them…It’s elevating their results, but also their ability to push themselves. It’s just so much more empowering for them,” Toppin said.
Being able to upload videos—as well as the video library that exists on the Semi-Private Pro app—also contributes to this education, as does the movement matrix, Toppin explained.
Finally, Toppin’s clients love the app and how easy it is for them to use, as well as how they can see their personalized workout each day.
“People love just being able to have their workout at their station. They’re only looking at what they’re doing, they’re not looking at what other people are doing and they’re just in their zone,” Toppin said.
